From Naples to Your Neighborhood
'MariGlenway started with an ambitious vision: to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Inaugurated by the Bianchi lineage in 1985, our pizza place was originally a quaint, family-run operation boasting passed-down recipes.
Marco Bianchi, our founder, acquired the pizza craft on her sojourns across Italy, honing her skills with renowned pizza makers in Naples—the original home of pizza. When she came back to the UK, her aim was to emulate the enchantment of classic Italian pizza, adhering to ancestral techniques and choosing top-notch ingredients.
What started as a humble 12-seat eatery has now flourished into a cherished community staple; despite this growth, our devotion to excellence and genuineness remains intact. Our kitchen still employs time-tested wood oven methods, prepares our dough from scratch every day, and selects ingredients of the highest caliber available.
Nowadays, 'MariGlenway is still in family hands, with the Bianchi's second generation spearheading our zealous team. Even with the adoption of certain modern advancements, the essence of our brand is unchanged: producing scrumptious, real pizza that brings people closer.
